Monday's Forecast

Discussion: Prepare for an arctic invasion!  Southwesterly winds will usher in relatively mild air for Monday, but that quickly changes as a trough and associated arctic front come through Monday night into Tuesday morning.  This front my trigger a period of light rain or even show showers early Tuesday morning.  Tuesday and Wednesday, the Arctic high pressure system will be firmly entrenched over the eastern half of the continental US, with northwest flow advecting in cold air.  Slow moderation begins Thursday.

Monday Mon Night

Increasing clouds and gusty winds.  High 50°F. Mostly cloudy with gusty winds, shifting from SW to NW after midnight.  Becoming colder.  A chance of showers after midnight.  Slight chance of some snowflakes around daybreak.
 Low 36°F.
TuesdayTues Night WednesdayWed Night

Cold.  A rain shower or snow shower possible early, then partly cloudy.  High 41°F.   Clear and cold.  Low 29°F.     Mostly sunny and cold.  High 41F. Clear and cold.  Low 28°F.
