Monday's Forecast

Discussion: A strong cold front will impact the region late Monday.  As the front approaches, we can expect damp conditions with increasing winds and cloudiness through the day Monday.  Cool, dry high pressure moves in for Tuesday.  Then a coastal storm begins to develop off the coast of the Carolinas by Wednesday.  A strong pressure gradient between the high pressure system and the developing low will create breezy conditions here Wednesday into Thursday with NE flow.
MondayMon Night
Cloudy and muggy.  Becoming increasingly windy.  A chance of showers in the morning, then showers likely in the late afternoon.  Thunder is possible late. High 77F.  Cloudy with rain early.  The rain will be heavy at times in the evening.  Clearing and becoming cooler late, on gusty Northwest winds.  Low 56F.
TuesdayTues Night WednesdayWed Night

Mostly sunny.  Drier and cooler with a high of 67F. Mostly clear.  Low 48F.  Partly cloudy and breezy.  High 64F. Partly cloudy with a low of 58F.
